the Trijicon setup is nice- a bit complicated for my tastes (I prefer the fixed sight backup on top of the trijicon), but it works fine. Other alternatives you can look into is an EOTech or an Aimpoint sight. For fast target acquisition, nothing quite matches the EOTech- the drawback is it runs on batteries. For shooting paper, the Trijicon will probably work best of these choices, but a good 10X scope will work even better.
