What is a good Position for a girl to play in American football?
Not to sound sexist, but most women aren’t physically as strong, fast, or able to take hits. Kicker or punter would be your best bet. You’d get eaten up if playing RB(hit all the time), if you were a WR you’d risk getting hit in the air and serious injury, QB you could get killed if your line doesn’t block well, any position where you’d have to tackle you could get run over, and if you blocked guys would try to cop a feel. Like I said, not being sexist, but a position where you kick the ball would be the safest position for a woman. Hope this helps.
To be honest with you football is a very hard sport for a lineman. When I played I was a QB, WR, and CB. As a QB and WR I took a lot of hits that I have to say I wouldn’t recommend for a girl. Not to take anything away from you at all because I don’t know you or how tough you are. As a CB I loved to put a beating on anyone that came my way. Honestly the only position I have ever seen females play was kicker. Most of these kickers came with soccer backgrounds. There was even a female kicker at the University of Colorado a few years back. If you want to play football so bad then you need to get a bunch of the girls together and start up a womens football team. The physical differences between men and women are inescapable and no matter how bad you wanna play on the guys team, the truth is that you will get laid the **** out and possibly become seriously injured. Football is a man’s sport, that’s just the way it is.
