What is a good resource for people aspiring to work with veterinary clinics?

0

I am very interested in working with veterinary clinics in my area- but am unsure as to what a good resource would be to get in the business. I’m contemplating pursuing a veterinary technician degree, but I don’t want to go through the schooling to find out I don’t like the work. I’d like to work in administrative duties initially. I have called local clinics and shelters to inquire about volunteering, but it seems no one needs any help. Any advice? Thank you! A: How bout contact local clinics and ask for work experience. This is different to volunteer work as work experience lets you ‘shadow’ professionals in the field and get a feel for their job. You will most likely just be observing though.
