What is a good song for a lyrical dance solo?
Here’s a portion of my usual lyrical song list…I took out all of the much older, somewhat quirky and weird songs. As a word of advice, you don’t want to do something too current for a song, because 1) you’ll get incredibly sick of the song somewhat quickly…it almost always happens and 2) competition judges tend to frown upon using really current songs…I know from experience 🙂 But that doesn’t mean that you can’t use one if you want to! My songs aren’t all by really known artists, but they’re all relatively current.
