Handicap Differential is a the difference between your score and the course rating, adjusted for slope. Each round has a handicap differential. A Handicap Differential is calcualted using the following formula: Handicap Differential = (Adjusted Gross Score – Course Rating) * (113 / Slope Rating) Handicap Differentials are used in calculating your handicap index.
