A hyper coaster is a term coined to a roller coaster between 200-299 feet in height. A giga coaster is a roller coaster between 300-399 feet in height. A strata coaster (only two in existence) is a roller coaster between 400-499 feet in height. Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point was the first full-circut hyper coaster ever built. It opened in 1989, and was the first full-circut roller coaster to top 200 feet. It stands 205 feet tall.
