Job specific resume formats will vary but they are all designed to demonstrate your specific skills and background that match a particular job type. So if you are going from a sales job to a sales job in the same industry or very similar industry this is a good format. This is probably not a good format for someone who is changing careers to a totally different field, like someone going from bookkeeping to outside sales. Im not saying it isnt a good idea to make that career change if its right for you. Im just saying that the job specific resume may not be your best resume format choice.
