What is A-level coursework like in sciences such as biology, chemistry, physics or maths?

I did biology, chemistry and maths AS levels this year. These had no coursework and maths coursework is only next year. I did GCSE maths coursework last year and that was making a formula for constructing shapes with cubes and also a statistics project on a (fictional) company – finding averages and doing hypotheses. However my friend said that the AS physics coursework was hard, but if you keep on top of the work and meet the deadlines then you should be fine. Coursework is just doing a sort of project at home, where teachers can give advice and you can work on it in your own time. It is only a fraction of the final grade as the exams count for more, but it is fairly easy to get a good grade in coursework. Hope I helped in some way.
