A. Every competent adult has the right to make a written declaration commonly known as a "Living Will" (and legally known in Texas as a Directive to Physicians or Family and Surrogates). A Directive to Physician expressly states your directions regarding the withholding of life prolonging procedures in the event one should have a terminal or irreversible condition.
