A Marine Security Operations Centre is the physical and organizational embodiment of National inter-agency and interdepartmental capability. Consisting of a core partnership that includes the Canada Border Services Agency, Department of Fisheries and Oceans/Canadian Coast Guard, Department of National Defence, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Transport Canada, each Centre co-locates the staff of the combined partners and enables them to undertake joint activities in support of integrating the marine security situational awareness.
