What is a Meta-Certificate, in simple terms?
A Meta-Certificate (or MC) is a unit of data and code, cryptographically signed, that allows entities, attributes, authorizations, public-keys, methods, etc. to be distributed, redistributed and certified. All MCs are subsets of characteristics (data, data types, methods, policies, etc.) from a given standard. Alternatively, a Meta-Certificate (MC) is a class-object with subclass inheritance from a standard called MCAC (Meta-Certificate Abstract Class), that allows for objects to be securely distributed, redistributed and certified.
