What is a natural way to kill fleas on dog?
Yikes! Garlic is toxic to dogs, cats, and horses plus it has NOT been proven to work for getting rid of fleas. Bath in pet oatmeal shampoo and use a pet oatmeal conditioner because that will kill the fleas (leave it one for 15 minutes) and also soothe your pet’s coat and skin. Next, try using a flea repellent such as a 50/50 mix of apple cider vinegar and water and spray it on your cat. This will help repel fleas and also help the skin and coat. You can use food grade (from a health food store) diatomaceous earth to dust the cat instead of flea powder AND use this in the carpet and flooring. Add fish oil to your pet’s diet to help with the skin and coat. Use a flea comb daily. I’ve attached the links to more ideas and to the ASPCA pet poison hotline page about Garlic.
