What is a Parallel and series circuit?

0

in a parallel circuit 2 or more batteries are connected from negative post to negative post and positive to positive this does not increase the voltage but ads twice the endurance,(in other words a 12v circuit would remain 12v but the sysem would last twice as long before it needed a recharge) in a series circuit 2 or more batteries are connected from negative post to positive post and this type of connection would increase the voltage. 2 12v batteries connected in series makes 24volts 3 12v batteries make 36v and so on……Good Luck on your test.
