WHAT is a Personal Management and Employability Skills Certificate and WHY is it important?
The Personal Management and Employability Skills Certificate may be earned through completion of a specialized curriculum, which focuses on topics such as: Attendance, Preparation, Communications (including Conflict Management), Responsibility, and Follow Through. Students must complete the curriculum and have 95% attendance to earn the certification. The inclusion of career certifications and the Personal Managment and Employability Skills Certification in the portfolio makes the portfolio more professional and provides authentic evidence of soft skills that employers seek.
