What is a PowerTrain Warranty or Bumper to Bumper Warranty?
PowerTrain Warranties typically refer to engine, drivetrain, axels, transmission and other vital components of your vehicle. These components collectively form the “PowerTrain” and “Power” your vehicle. Bumper to Bumper is a more comprehensive coverage that covers virtually all parts on your vehicle, their repair, and labor for up to 3 years or 36,000 miles whichever comes first. This is similar to our Elite Plan. Manufacturer Warranty Coverages and FAQs Outlined in the chart below are the typical Basic Bumper to Bumper Warranties and the Powertrain Warranties currently offered by the Manufactuer. As you can see some of the Makes now have powertrain warranties that often extend upward of 100,000 miles. Warranty Elite has a Wrap plan that provides coverage on everything else outside of the Powertrain. This type of coverage creates the same comprehensive coverage that you had when you first purchased your vehicle. This coverage is available for an extremely economical price.
