A PAC is a text file containing a small piece of logic which determines how URLs are loaded by the browser. It is comprised of a single javascript function FindProxyForURL(url, host) that you implement. This function returns a string with one or more proxy specifications: multiple specifications provide a fallback when a proxy fails to respond.
