Do I have to have it? A.) RAC stands for Registration Access Code. You must enter this in Banner in order to register for classes. Marketing majors should come by 301 McCool to get this code. Sorry, but we cannot give this to you over the phone. Q.) Do I have to see an advisor? I already know what classes I want. A.) No, but if you do not want to do so, you must come by to sign a waiver to receive your RAC number. We encourage you to at least let an advisor check over your schedule to help make sure that you are still on the right track, and that you haven’t missed any changes in graduation requirements. Q.) When I try to register for a class, I get an error code. What does this mean? A.) Error codes inform you when there is a reason that you should not register for a class. Common error codes are: 103-Holds on your account, 204-Time Conflict, 221-College restriction, etc. In some cases, we can give you an override to allow you to register.
