What is a Radiology Technologist?

0

A Radiology Technologist must attend an accredited college and pass a special test to be able to perform x-rays and other special tests such as CT scans and Ultrasounds. We have two Radiology Technologists at KPMS who specialize in performing CT scans. What is a CT Scan? A CT (Computed Tomography) scan is a special type of x-ray in which an area of your body can be looked in greater detail than with a regular x-ray. At KPMS our doctors use the CT pictures to place the needle in the exact location needed to better help your pain.
