What is a Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD)?
• Omega Thermistor Resistance vs. Temperature • They developed pseudo-noise voltage waveforms and synthesis techniques for comparison with the voltage noise of resistors in triple point cells of both gallium and water and devised a novel ratiometric method that uses the QVNS to compare the voltage noise of resistors at different temperatures. They are collaborating with Weston Tew and John Labensky of the Process Measurements Division (836) in the NIST Chemical Science and Technology Laboratory and have published several technical papers on their results.
