A rush fee is imposed when a gown is ordered and the regular ship date is too close to the event date. A rush fee will insure that the customer will receive the gown in plenty of time, approximately 3 weeks prior to the regular ship date, in order for any possible alterations that need to be done. Before an order is actually placed by Park Avenue Bridal, Inc., your consultant will ask the manufacturer for a regular ship date, if it is too close to the actual wedding date, or event date the ordering process will be stopped until your consultant contacts the bride or bridesmaid to see if they want to pay the additional fee. It is totally up to the bride or bridesmaid if they want to pay the additional fee, but the bridesmaids would all have to come to an agreement whether a they want or don’t want the fee.
