What is a smile analysis and smile design?
Smile analysis and design are actually artistic and technical processes that we go through to create a smile that is uniquely and beautifully yours. Typically, analysis involves both emotional questions –to determine how your smile affects your self-image, your interactions with others, and your relationships; and objective questions – to determine what structural/physical aspects of your smile concern you. In a smile analysis we look at all the factors that compose a smile: the shape of a smile, the size, the smile line, and the position of your teeth, lips, and gums when you smile. We analyze the proportions of your face to make sure that your new teeth are the perfect size, shape and dimensions to compliment your face. Smile Design involves several important steps. After an initial smile analysis, we conduct a consultation taking digital photographs of your face and smile, and then take x-rays of your mouth.
