What is a Sports Academy Student?

0

Someone studying vocational or academic subjects and also receiving some kind of additional sports coaching, that is not provided by normal College provision. This additional coaching is received in many forms such as: specific sports coaching, conditioning, nutritional advice, new training techniques, access to sports therapy, injury advice and rehabilitation etc. As an Academy student you will sign a ‘Code of Conduct’ at the start of the academic year that will act as a binding agreement between yourself and the College. This is to reinforce your commitment to the course and training, health & safety standards, and in turn the reputation of Exeter College and the development potential of the Academy Programme.
