What is a tach generator on a pizza oven?

This must be a commercial, expensive pizza oven. A "tach generator" is usually connected to an electrical motor to give a speed reference. In other words, it shows you or some other electronics, the speed that the motor is turning. Usually it gives feed-back to a drive that regulates the motor to what your desired speed is set.  more
