A vacation rental is any suite-type lodging that has self-catering facilities (wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, etc.) Most vacation rentals have separate bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, one or more bathrooms, washer and dryer, and sometimes a balcony or patio. Towels and linens are provided. Daily maid service and other hotel conveniences are usually available. Unlike hotels with per person pricing, there is a set price for an entire vacation rental with a maximum number of persons allowed. Most one-bedroom units sleep a maximum of four using a sleeper/sofa in the living room. Most two-bedroom vacation rentals sleep a maximum of six, and most three-bedroom vacation rentals sleep up to eight. Please carefully read the vacation rental descriptions to learn the specifics of what is provided and how many people are allowed.  more

A vacation rental is a property offered as short-term vacation accommodation to travelers. They are castles, villas, houses, cottages, and apartments that you rent by the night, week or month. They usually do not offer the same services as B&Bs, inns or hotels, but they offer privacy and "home-i-ness" so that you can cook your own meals, entertain guests, and generally immerse yourself in your travel destination just like a local. Vacation Rentals are also referred to as holiday homes or rentals, tourist rentals, holiday cottages, self catering rentals, etc.  more

Vacation rental homes are a growing lodging option for travelers in the Orlando area and across the world. Representing a wonderful value for families and groups, vacation rentals allow travelers visiting the destination to stay under one roof while providing considerably more space and, in many instances, amenities not found in one’s own home.  more

" The general definition of a vacation rental is a home, townhome, or condo, owned by a private individual, that is available for rent. The primary benefits of staying in a vacation home versus staying in a hotel are: • More Space Instead of small-spaced, two-bed rooms, vacation rentals allow the entire family to stay under the same roof. This kind of accommodation is well-suited for extended stays. • More Amenities These properties offer more amenities than hotels, such as fully-equipped kitchens, fireplaces, and private hot tubs and pools. • Great Locations Vacation rentals are often, literally, directly on the beach or on the slopes providing ski in/out access… try that from your hotel room!  more
