What is a Youth Justice Committee?
The Youth Justice Committee is a group of community members who gather in a group setting with the young person alleged to have committed the offence and the victim. The group is designed to give the young person an opportunity to explain their actions directly to the victim and for the victim to explain to the young person the impact the offence had on them.
