What is Adams?
As you might know, under the World Anti-Doping Code, WADA has an obligation to coordinate anti-doping activities and to provide a mechanism to assist stakeholders with their implementation of the Code. The Anti-Doping Administration & Management System (ADAMS) was developed for this purpose. ADAMS is a web-based database management tool that simplifies the daily activities of all stakeholders. This system allows data entry, storage, sharing and reporting. It supports the result management, the administration of Therapeutic Use Exemptions (TUEs), the gymnast’s whereabouts information and test distribution planning. Not only is it easy to use, but also it is free to WADA’s stakeholders in French, English, Spanish, German, Arabic, Japanese and Russian, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the fight against doping in sport.
