What is Address Verification Service (AVS Miss-match)?
We use an Address Verification Service (AVS) that checks a credit card holder’s billing address with the card issuer at the time of purchase. We include an AVS request as part of the authorization indicating whether the billing address given by the cardholder matches the billing address on file with the Card Issuer at the time of purchase.
