A. It depends on where you make the price adjustment. If you make the adjustment from the PRODUCT screen, future transactions will display the new price. If you make the adjustment in the Transfer Journal, all reports with that transaction will be updated. The PO and product catalog is NOT updated. If you make the adjustment AFTER the GL interface has been run, accounting should be notified of the adjustment. If you make the adjustment on a Purchase Order during creation or BEFORE receiving has occurred, you have the opportunity to update the product catalog, purchase order and any receipts this and future POs. If you make the adjustment on a Purchase Order AFTER receiving has occurred, you have the opportunity to update the product catalog as well as the price on that PO. Receiving prices (recorded in the transfer journal), average costs, FIFO and LIFO costing is NOT updated.
