Active Sorting is the ability to continue sorting whilst full coin bags or full coin wagons are being replaced/changed over. The SC4000 Coin Sorter model automatically retains those coins in its sorting mechanism until a replacement bag is attached or coin trolley wheeled into place. The advanced sensor technology disallows those coins to pass through, therefore increasing the efficiency of the machine as it does not need to stop when a batch stop count is reached. PASSIVE SORTING (OTHER MODELS / BRANDS) Passive Sorting is when the machine stops while the full bags/trolleys are being replaced. Passive Coin Sorting models DO NOT have the ability to retain coins in its sorting mechanism while full bags/trolleys are being replaced.
