What is an Arrears of Pay beneficiary?

0

An Arrears of Pay (AOP) beneficiary is a person or persons designated by the retiree to receive any compensation owed to the retiree after the date of death. The beneficiary can be anyone the retiree wishes to designate. If the retiree fails to list a beneficiary, any compensation owed would default to the Legal Order of Precedence.
