What is an encouraged assembly paradigm?
An encouraged assembly paradigm, by definition, is any approach to construction in which the whole is constructed by assembling several smaller parts using a methodology that promotes decomposition of the whole. In software development terminology this requires the development of independent modules made up of encapsulated objects and any (encapsulated) modules required to provide an Application Program Interface (API) for accessing the object functionality and data. Software is built by integrating one or more of these independent modules.
