Many scholarships require that applicants receive the endorsement of the College in order to be eligible to apply. If an institutional endorsement is required, then the scholarship applicant will submit their application through College Scholarships to signify official College approval. In most cases the applicant will follow a set of campus application procedures in addition to whatever is required by the scholarship.
