What is an Internet Usage policy (IUP)?
Internet usage policies set a standard of proper “etiquette” for employees using the Internet. These policies allow companies to communicate with its employees about the rules and guidelines for using the Internet and inform them about the risks and consequences for inappropriate use. IUPs allow employees and management alike to all participate in the productive use of the Internet that will result in positive work environment for all.
