What is an owners liability for an unauthorized drivers car accident?
What is an owner’s liability for car accident that occurs when someone else is using the car? My parents let me use their car for a few days. On one of those days I gave my daughter permission (without my parents knowledge) to use the car to go to work. I was ill that day and was not able to drive her because of Medication. Unfortunately on her way home she struck and killed a pedestrian. She was not issued any tickets and it was acknowledged as an accident due to circumstances involving the pedestrian.
