What is appropriate and inappropriate to ask of an executive assistant?
Although I don’t have an executive assistant, I do have several employees. I wish they would, but most of them never bother to come to me with questions like this. I obviously don’t mean specifically like this, but touchy issues. Sometimes I’m so wrapped up in what I’m doing, that I miss the bigger picture. How can I remember that they are human beings with desires and needs, when I don’t have time to acknowledge those things in myself? I would talk to him. In fact, if you could think up some win-win solutions before you bring it up, you might find him to be very responsive. Best of luck to both of you!
