What is Ascent Capture Internet Server?
Ascent Capture Internet Server is an optional module in the Ascent family that enables you to capture documents and data from your organization’s remote offices directly into your central Ascent system. The Ascent Capture Internet Server (ACI Server) adds Internet and Intranet processing capabilities to Ascent Capture. With this capability, Ascent Capture stations can be connected to a central site through the Internet (or Intranet) to assist in the production document and data capture process. Batches can be scanned and processed at the remote site, and then uploaded to the central site for further processing and release.
