What is being done to bring a major retailer to the former Commonwealth Edison property on Skokie Blvd.?
The Village has met with the owner and has encouraged him to bring proposals to the Plan Commission. We do not expect consensus on any proposal, but we can assure anyone that they will get a prompt, professional review. They will have a fair chance to develop a viable business consistent with the master plan that has been in place since the 1980’s or an alternative that can attract the support of a majority of the Board of Trustees after a fair and open process.
