What is best short term investment for home purchase?
What is the best opition as far as investment that I can use to put money that I will recieve from a settlement , into? I’m thinking about purchasing a lease/rent opition/purchase home. Most of these homes will let a person live in the home for two-three years before a person purchases them. I want to put my settlement money into some kind of an account that would pay a high return without a high risk so that at the time I purchase this home, I would have made as much as I could through interest, giving me more money as down payment at purchase time. If I decide to do the lease/rent opition/purchase, the two-three years of renting would help my credit rating because 75% of the negitive item on my credit report will be off by the end of 2010, which would make fiancing alot easier for me.
