What is better Cozumel or Cancun?
Well that depends a little on what you plan to do. If you like to relax, lay on the beach, and drink margaritas then I think that Cancun is for you. If you want to go snorkeling and go shopping for trinkets, then Cozumel and Playa del Carmen would probably be your best bet. If you go to Cancun and have a car then you can explore down the coast and go to places like Xel-Ha and Tulum. You can also drive to other Mayan ruins like Coba and Chitzen-Itza. I have done all of these things and if you want to do a lot of different things then I believe this would be best. You can also take the ferry over to Cozumel, rent a car and check out the island. I actually prefer to fly into Cancun, rent a car and drive down the coast and stay at one of the resorts down there. There are also many houses for rent along the coast that are sometimes cheaper than resorts. You can also cook your own food and have a lot more privacy if that is what you desire. The town of Puerto Morales is a good place. I hope
