What is better plasma vs. LCD TV?
Generally, plasmas have either a 42 or 50 inch screen – LCD TVs have 45 inches and get as small as 8 inches, but the most popular sizes are 32 and 37 inches. In the past, LCD TVs have had trouble showing deep blacks, fast motion and viewing angles. However, newer LCD TVs do have improved rivaling plasma technology. In the other hand, Plasma are known to have to much reflective image and a risk of burn-in. However, new plasmas are being built with antiglare technologies, filters that absorb ambient light, with screen-saver-type technology and new phosphor formulations to reduce the risk of burn-in. The gap between LCD and Plasma is narrowing. Make sure you buy the latest model. For these reasons, it makes more sense to research on features of the different brands and models rather that just plasmas and LCD TVs.
