WHAT IS BIOCHEMICAL INDIVIDUALITY?
Everyone has unique nutritional needs. Although we do need the same food factors (eg. protein, carbohydrates, fats, fiber, etc.) we do not all need them in the same proportion or from the same source. Our ability to digest, absorb, and assimilate nutrients varies widely from person to person. What may be good for one may not be good for another due to genetic factors, allergies, inttolerance, stressful lifestyles, etc. This is considered biochemical individuality and holistic nutrition takes this into consideration.
