What is Bobby’s Hope House?

0

In the fall of 2005, Bobby Lawson, a 20-year Hospice volunteer, made a significant donation to Hospice Greater Saint John while terminally ill to help us establish a stand-alone Hospice House. Our community supported Bobby’s dream and in May 2006, Hospice Greater Saint John moved from the hospital into the Hospice House. The house is named in Bobby’s honour and is called Bobby’s Hope House. The sign on the front lawn is Hospice Greater Saint John. From the house, Hospice is delivering our community’s non-medical outreach support programs and establishing Atlantic Canada’s first Residential Hospice. Our grief support programs also take place at the house. Hospice Greater Saint John is the place to contact when people and families in our community are facing end-of-life issues. We can help.
