Bulldozer is an integrated tool that gives the user the ability to interact with existing DIRSIG scenes and to construct new ones within a very user friendly environment. At the core of the tool is an OpenGL engine that takes advantage of 3D display hardware, which is available in most modern workstations. There are two main modes of operations within Bulldozer. The first one is Object Editing Mode. Here, the user will be able to directly manipulate 3D objects and save them as DIRSIG objects, to be used in a DIRSIG scene. Using an OpenGL window, users can modify these objects with simple mouse commands. Object modification consists of geometry manipulation down to Material Attributing of an object. The second mode of operation is Scene Editing Mode. In this mode, the user will be able to create and manipulate DIRSIG scenes using DIRSIG objects.
