Call Forwarding Variable allows you to forward all your incoming calls to another number when you’re away from home. To use Call Forwarding Variable: • Lift the receiver and listen for the dial tone. • Press *72, and immediately dial the number where you’d like to have your calls forwarded. Remember to dial 1 plus the area code before the number if it’s necessary to place the call. • Listen carefully. Depending on your region, you will either: • Hear a confirmation tone indicating the feature has been activated. Or • Hear a courtesy call being placed to the number. If the party answers, the feature has been activated. If the number is busy or no one answers, repeat steps 1-3 within 2 minutes, and you will hear a confirmation tone indicating the feature has been activated.
