What is CanDID?
CanDID stands for Canadian Design Info Day, organized by the Department of Design, Faculty of Fine Arts at York University. This one-day event, the first of its kind, will provide introductory information on the practice of Design as a profession and paths to becoming a professional designer, from high school to university and beyond. Who should attend CanDID? If you are studying at grade 10 or above and are interested in exploring a career in Design, you should attend CanDID. Parents of children interested in studying Design, high school teachers and counselors are also encouraged to attend CanDID. What can I get out of CanDID? Design as a profession is becoming increasingly attractive to young people.
