What is CCD Camera and how they are better than CMOS chinese camera?
CCD stands for “Charged Coupled Device”. CCD is latest technology in CCTV Analogue display and provides clear and crystal images. CCD cameras also give picture under low light. CMOS is very old technology it has remained to market only because of its cheap price. CMOS vs. CCD Most cheap cameras sold are using CMOS sensors, unless specified as CCD. CCD technology is better and produces sharper resolution color reproductions. E.g. lower cost mobile phones are using CMOS sensors, while an expensive digital camera uses CCD sensors. This is not typical CMOS CHINESE camera which is sold by some vendors. This is CCD (Charged Coupled Device) Color Camera.
