A. Claying is the term used to describe the process of using a clay bar on your paintwork. Have you ever washed your car, then gently run your fingers across the paintwork? If it feels rough, maybe even like a fine sandpaper and not smooth glass, well, these are bonded contaminents. Washing your car removes fresh contaminants such as acid rain, car pollutants, and general road grime. What you can feel after you have washed the car are bonded contaminents and these need a bit more work, such as fallout from factories, railways, and baked on tree sap.
