What is clipping?
Clipping occurs when an amplifier is driven to attempt to produce more voltage than what’s available from the power supply. if you were to look at this as a graphed wave, it would be a square wave rather than a fluent curved wave. this can be very damaging for both your amp and your speakers. this is usually caused by turning the gain knob too high on your amplifier. remember: it’s input sensitivity, not volume.
