What is Composted Cow Manure?
There is fresh cow manure, and composted cow manure. Fresh cow manure can burn plants and also pass on contaminates. It can also contain weed seed that most gardeners do not want in their garden. Composted Cow Manure reduces the possibility of contaminants, is an excellent source of balanced fertilizer, and weed seed has been eradicated through the composting process. My Experiences Every year I always add Composted Cow Manure to my rhubarb bed. Rhubarb is a heavy feeder.
