What is Compulsory Notification of Vacancies Act 1959?
As per the Employment Exchanges (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies) Act 1959, it is obligatory on the part of all Employers of act establishment to notify vacancies to the local Employment Exchange in the prescribed Performa. Failure to notify the vacancies is punishable. It is also obligatory on the part of employers to render occupational returns in prescribed form in quarterly/biennial intervals.
